❤️ This Is Who I Am: A Life Built on Joy, Tradition, and the People Who Believe in Me

My life has always been measured in moments, not the big, flashy ones, but the ones filled with laughter, chaos, love, and the kind of joy that stays with you long after the decorations come down. From my own wedding to Eggtravaganzas Easters, Friendsgiving, Family Christmas, Friendship Days, and every birthday in between, I’ve always found myself creating spaces where people feel connected, celebrated, and loved.

I didn’t choose this path. This path chose me.

I’ve always been the one who takes a theme and blows it wide open bigger, brighter, louder, more magical than anyone expected. If it means stuffing 4,000 eggs, I do it. If it means cooking meals for the people who support me, I’m already in the kitchen. If it means staying up late to make sure every detail is perfect, that’s just part of the joy. I don’t know how to do “simple.” I only know how to do “extra mile.”

And out of all the traditions I’ve created, Kid Christmas has always held my heart the closest.

Kid Christmas wasn’t just an event; it was a moment of magic. I held it the weekend before Christmas so parents could prepare for the holiday without stress, knowing their kids already had a celebration filled with crafts, treats, surprises, and pure joy. Watching those kids light up, watching parents breathe easier, watching families make memories… that’s the kind of happiness that becomes part of your soul.

Our game nights became another tradition that reminded me why I love bringing people together. No decorations, no themes just laughter, snacks, friendly competition, and the occasional competitive argument that always ended in more laughter than anything else. Those nights proved that joy doesn’t always need a holiday. Sometimes it’s found in the simple moments, the ones where people show up, let loose, and feel at home.

And through all of this every event, every tradition, every wild idea I’ve had- I've had two people who never hesitate, never question, never hold back.

Jason and Melissa.

You two have gone along with every plan, every theme, every last‑minute idea, every “I need you” moment. You’ve shown up, supported me, believed in me, and helped bring every crazy vision to life. You’ve been there for the heavy lifting, the laughter, the chaos, the magic, and the memories. I couldn’t do any of this without you, and I’m grateful in ways words barely touch.

All these experiences, all these traditions, all these people — shaped me. They taught me that celebration isn’t about perfection. It’s about heart. It’s about intention. It’s about creating spaces where people feel seen, valued, and loved.

And that’s exactly what I bring into Beyond the Bar.

I want every wedding, birthday, and event to feel like it was crafted just for them. I want our clients to walk into their space and instantly feel how much care went into every detail. I want their guests to look around and understand how special that person is to us because when someone trusts us with their moment, it becomes our moment too.

This isn’t just event planning. This is passion. This is purpose. This is legacy. This is joy made visible.

And I’m honored to bring that same energy, tradition, and heart to every event we touch.
